Medical Claims Billing, a New Jersey-based medical billing services provider, needed to modernize its management processes after a change in ownership. The company lacked an integrated EHR/practice management system, had limited analytics and reporting, and wanted to automate repetitive work to improve efficiency and free staff for higher-value tasks. Tebra’s billing and payments platform, including RPA capabilities, was chosen to help address these challenges.

Tebra implemented automation across MCB’s claims and ERA workflows, using more than 14 customized client-specific rules to reduce manual effort and errors. The results included over 80% of claims being posted without personnel intervention, a 10%+ reduction in time for the dedicated account management team, 25,000 claims processed monthly, and nearly $1 million in reimbursements handled. Tebra also helped drive a 50% increase in new client opportunities and a 21%+ increase in revenue from new clients.
