A Tebra Case Study
Alliance Physical Therapy, founded in 2009, has grown to 10 locations with 15 providers and 25 support staff. After moving off a costly, server‑based EHR and billing system toward WebPT and Kareo, the practice streamlined most billing (24 days in A/R, low denials) but still struggled with paper‑based Workers’ Compensation and motor vehicle accident (MVA) claims, which make up about half of their volume and required lengthy documentation and manual follow‑up.
To address this, Alliance began using Kareo Billing’s partnership with Jopari to send electronic MVA/WC claims with attached documentation. The change cut processing time from roughly 30 minutes per claim batch to 5–10 minutes, enabled quick confirmation of attachments, reduced postage costs (about $3.50 saved per claim), and delivered measurable time and cost savings that are expected to improve further as more payers join the network.
