A Tebra Case Study
Today Clinic is a family-owned urgent care started in 2008 that has grown into seven clinics with 15 providers offering urgent and primary care. Though progressive with online scheduling and patient-facing tools, the practice struggled with outdated billing processes, a problematic local billing vendor, high A/R, unresolved denials, poor patient collections and limited reporting.
They switched to Kareo Managed Billing alongside Kareo Clinical and Kareo Engage, a transition that quickly cleaned up aged A/R, improved claims work and payer follow-up, and strengthened patient collections and eligibility processes. Results included a 95.6% revenue realization rate, a 91.5% reduction in overall A/R, a 16% drop in patient A/R, 100% ERAs posted within two days, fewer denials and reduced no‑shows via automated reminders—freeing staff to focus on care and participation in CMS programs.
