AFC Physical Medicine & Chiropractic Centers is a multi-location physical medicine practice with 24 providers, nine locations, 65 staff, and roughly 70–75k patient visits a year. Facing an outdated, server-based billing and scheduling system (and a failed early EHR) that didn’t support multi-site access or ICD-10 readiness, the practice needed an affordable, cloud-based integrated practice management, billing, and EHR solution.

After a nine-month evaluation AFC chose Kareo Clinical and Kareo Billing. The system improved connectivity and efficiency across locations—streamlining documentation, scheduling, records requests, and billing—while making onboarding easier and enabling flexible templates and copy-note workflows. Kareo also revealed billing weaknesses the practice is now fixing, so revenue improvements are expected as aging is addressed; overall Dr. Bock reports the EHR and reporting have exceeded expectations.
