Jaguar Land Rover - Customer Case Study

Jaguar Land Rover's Design Model Operations department, the manufacturing arm of its design team, sought to significantly increase its NC machining capacity to keep pace with the company's growth. The challenge was to maximize productivity for producing unique, high-quality prototype models. They turned to their long-term CAD/CAM vendor, Tebis, to leverage its technology for this goal.

Tebis provided a solution centered on its Automill® technology for reliable template-based programming and the advanced use of its Simulator software. This enabled Jaguar Land Rover to implement multiple-setup jobs for simultaneous, unattended machining, truly maximizing their capacity. Working with Tebis consultants, the team achieved its target of 1200 machining hours per week. The flexibility and reliability of the Tebis software ensured consistent, high-quality results for their unique workpieces.
