How Wales’ top digital agency used Teamwork to make project time accountable

Liberty Marketing, the largest digital marketing agency in Wales with 35 staff based in Cardiff, needed a better way to manage projects, resources and time tracking after finding their previous tool (WorkflowMax) unfit for purpose. Teamwork delivered a smooth onboarding and training rollout, and Liberty now uses core Teamwork features—tags, file sharing, comments, Teamwork Chat, in-project time tracking with the Teamwork Timer, and Project Time Budget—to manage complex projects and retainer work (about 80% of their business). The result: higher uptake of time tracking, real‑time visibility into capacity and who owns tasks, easier budget control and early warnings when retainer hours run low, and better reporting that lets the agency drill down into how long tasks take and who is hitting targets.
