How FYB uses Teamwork Projects to build a transparent process

FYB, a Melbourne-based professional services firm (50+ employees) led by Michael Grech, faced collaboration and productivity problems using on-premise Microsoft Projects: slow, email-driven communications, missed updates, hard client collaboration and lengthy new-starter onboarding that ate billable hours. To address this, FYB evaluated several tools and chose Teamwork’s cloud product, Teamwork Projects, to replace their fragmented process.

Teamwork implemented a cloud-based single source of truth—Teamwork Projects—with templates, Board View, search, time tracking and an open API (used to build the CM2Teamwork integration with Micro Focus Content Manager). As a result, FYB now runs as many as 60 concurrent projects, reduced project setup from hours to minutes, improved transparency and client access to real-time reports, increased billable hours and lowered administrative costs, and accelerated project completion and client satisfaction.
