New Stand, a retail concept blending newsstand, bodega, and digital content, needed a flexible way to support its fast-changing product mix, multiple store formats, and app-based customer experience. Teamwork Commerce provided the point-of-sale devices and cloud backend used across New Stand locations, including iPad-based checkout for employees.

With Teamwork Commerce, New Stand was able to launch stores quickly, support self-checkout in its member app, sync wallet and loyalty features with physical stores, and integrate innovative offerings like its 72-hour “swap charge” device. The system’s plug-and-play iOS setup helped New Stand expand across New York, Los Angeles International Airport, and other locations with minimal configuration, while giving the company room to keep adding features and partners.
