As the meal-kit company expanded, managers and HR teams were spending hours each day handling absences through voicemail, with some supervisors listening to hundreds of messages daily, making the process slow, manual, and hard to standardize.
TeamSense implemented a text-based attendance and communication solution that let employees report absences in under 10 seconds, standardized and automated data capture, supported multiple languages, and helped coordinate overtime and shift replacements. The result was an estimated 30%–50% reduction in time spent managing attendance and shift coverage, saving HelloFresh 3–4 hours per day and allowing the company to replace multiple legacy systems.
