Macarthur Valuations, a property valuations firm, struggled to scale its FileMaker desktop database for multi‑user and remote access: FileMaker’s WebDirect was slow and limited, hosted solutions were unstable and required per‑user licenses, and they could not export photos (container fields) easily into Microsoft Word for valuation reports.
