New Marketing Efforts at Phillips Toyota Drive Record-Breaking New Car Sales

Phillips Toyota, a family-owned dealership in Leesburg, Florida, was underperforming and needed a new approach to connect with its largely older, retirement-community customer base. Team Velocity helped the store modernize its marketing while still using channels that resonated locally, such as newspaper ads, alongside digital outreach through its Apollo Technology Platform®.

With Team Velocity’s Apollo Technology Platform® managing integrated campaigns across mail, email, and digital advertising, Phillips Toyota also added sales and service BDC support to improve call handling and appointment setting. The changes helped drive record new-car sales, including 217 units in July 2017 and 239 in August, while digital performance rose from an 8% conversion rate and 175 total conversions in February 2017 to 15.28% and 609 total conversions in August.
