Hampton Chevrolet, part of the First Team Auto Group in Hampton, Virginia, faced intense competition in the Hampton Roads market, where multiple Chevrolet dealerships competed for the same customers. To grow volume and stand out, the dealership needed a smarter way to use its existing customer base and dealership traffic, especially from its busy service drive. Team Velocity helped support that effort with a targeted marketing and customer-upgrade strategy.

Team Velocity implemented a Vehicle Upgrade Program that let service customers compare their current vehicle against a new one and often upgrade at little or no additional cost. The program was managed through a single platform with consistent messaging across channels, and Team Velocity provided ongoing training and specialized support. As a result, Hampton Chevrolet sold 10 to 15 additional vehicles per month in 2016, increased late-model same-brand trade-ins by 5%, and aimed to double those results in 2017.
