A Team Epiphany Case Study
Heineken tapped Team Epiphany to help create a standout experience at its 2015 National Distributors Conference. The challenge was to make distributors excited about Heineken’s newly minted MLS sponsorship and convince them that soccer is a meaningful growth opportunity in the U.S., while also showcasing the brand’s broader plans and purpose for the year.
Team Epiphany designed and produced an immersive soccer activation with 3D renderings, a premium branded space, goal-scoring challenges with an MLS goalie, slow-motion replays, sampling bars for Heineken’s BrewLock system, a jersey customization station, Oculus Rift virtual reality, and the unveiling of the authentic UCL trophy. The activation was built, loaded, and broken down in just two days, and several custom elements—including the neon star entryway and bars—were retained as reusable brand assets for future Heineken activations worldwide.
