University of Warwick - Customer Case Study

The University of Warwick, one of the largest university campuses in Europe, wanted to create a smarter and more sustainable campus while improving its energy and carbon efficiency strategy. To support this goal, the university worked with TEAM (Energy Auditing Agency Ltd.) and its Sigma energy management technology to better manage a large estate of more than 150 buildings, 6,500 accommodation rooms, and nearly 3,000 meters.

TEAM implemented Sigma as a software-as-a-service energy management solution, giving Warwick better control over its data, automated half-hourly meter readings, and stronger reporting, dashboarding, and tenant billing capabilities. The system helped the university monitor and validate utility spend more accurately, support budget tracking, and engage staff and students with energy-saving insights, delivering a reported saving of £150,000.
