Dodo, an Australian internet and utilities provider established in 2001, wanted to improve campaign performance and gain more actionable marketing insights to boost future results. The challenge was accurately measuring and optimising conversions across its digital campaigns.
Working with Facebook Business Partner Tealium, Dodo ran a multi-cell test comparing the Facebook pixel alone versus the pixel combined with the Facebook Conversions API, using broadly targeted link ads and campaign budget optimisation. Combining the Conversions API with the pixel improved measurement and optimisation, delivering 26% incremental sales, a 23% higher conversion rate, and 13% more online sales.
