nib, an Australian private health insurer, faced a competitive market and slow digital transformation, with customer data scattered across silos and a need to deliver meaningful personalisation while addressing privacy and regulatory changes like the Consumer Data Right. The challenge was to turn disparate online and offline interactions into actionable insights that could drive growth and better customer experiences.

Working with Tealium and strategic partner The Lumery, nib implemented Tealium’s CDP (iQ Tag Management, AudienceStream and EventStream) and realigned teams by creating a marketing automation function to enable rapid, data-driven campaigns. The result was tracking of more than 113 million events, a 175% increase in marketable leads, 71% improvement in online logins, a 145% rise in online switching to nib, and the ability to run 30+ agile campaigns with dramatically faster time-to-market.
