Young At Art Museum Successfully Tackles Scheduling Employees Across Multiple Departments with Humanity

Young At Art Museum, a hands-on nonprofit children's museum in South Florida that grew from 10 to 65 employees as its programs and facilities expanded, faced complex multi-department scheduling challenges. With most staff hourly and cross-trained across departments, YAA struggled with overlapping shifts, scheduling employees when unavailable, and preventing overtime—so they moved off Excel and implemented Humanity by TCP Software.

TCP Software’s Humanity provided an online, integrated scheduling system that let Young At Art schedule across all departments, publish schedules to employees, and track scheduled hours. Since switching in August, YAA resolved overlapping shifts and availability conflicts, gained better visibility into hours to control overtime, and reported faster, more responsive support from TCP Software.
