A TCP Software Case Study
Yale University School of Medicine’s Department of Emergency Medicine needed reliable 24/7 coverage to recruit patients for multiple research studies, using a mix of students and full-time staff. Their prior process — a Microsoft Word calendar on Dropbox — created duplicate files and confusion when people tried to pick up open shifts. To address this, they adopted TCP Software’s Humanity work scheduler.
TCP Software’s Humanity enabled self-service shift trades, open-shift posting and pickup, and live help support, reducing management involvement and streamlining the initial scheduling process for the department’s 16 staff. The result was a simpler, faster scheduling workflow, fewer duplicate calendars and less confusion, and staff reported that scheduling is “so much easier” since implementing TCP Software’s solution.
