WISE and Healthy Aging is a Los Angeles–area non-profit serving seniors, especially low-income and underserved individuals, with a staff of about 60 plus volunteers. The organization had no formal scheduling system and struggled to accurately predict how long volunteers would take to help seniors complete applications and other client tasks.
TCP Software implemented its Humanity employee-scheduling solution, giving WISE and Healthy Aging formal schedules, a Message Wall for announcements, and automated follow-up reminders. The Humanity rollout improved volunteer coordination and allowed volunteers to manage client interactions end-to-end, reduced scheduling uncertainty, and helped staff “stay on top of things” — a change staff described as “extremely helpful” and that they would recommend.
