West Gippsland Regional Library Corporation, a regional Victorian public library service formed in 1995, faced growing scheduling pressures as its workforce grew from 12 to 68 staff. Previously reliant on Excel and Docushare, the library needed a faster, easier way to find relievers while contending with regional broadband and device limitations. To solve this they adopted the Humanity work scheduler from TCP Software.
TCP Software implemented Humanity to centralize rostering and streamline reliever finds; library staff report the Humanity team has been “helpful and responsive” and the library recommends the product. The solution simplified scheduling compared with Excel/Docushare, helped them find relievers more quickly, and supported roster management at scale as the organisation grew to 68 employees.
