A TCP Software Case Study
Wardenburg Health Center, the public health division of a university health center, faced exponentially more complex scheduling after merging three small departments into a single comprehensive public health unit. Managing rotating doctor/nurse schedules, semester-driven student availability, and frequent presentations across a 30,000-person campus overwhelmed their paper-based system. To address this, they adopted TCP Software’s Humanity employee scheduling solution.
TCP Software implemented the Humanity work scheduler to centralize shifts and let student employees check schedules remotely, handle semester and break variability, and coordinate 30 total staff (including 14–16 paid student employees, 6 professional staff, 5 interns and 16 volunteers). The result: gone are paper rosters, faster response to presentation requests, much-improved communication and workflow, and strong vendor support and ongoing product improvements — outcomes Wardenburg Health Center credits directly to TCP Software’s Humanity.
