A TCP Software Case Study
The University of Rhode Island Office of Emergency Management & Homeland, formed in 2009, had no formal scheduling method for coordinating emergency-management responsibilities and tracking staff time. To address this gap they adopted TCP Software’s Humanity work scheduler to bring structure to personnel scheduling and remote team coordination.
TCP Software implemented Humanity, enabling the team to record time worked, add shift notes, print time-and-effort certification reports, track progress, trade shifts, and view schedules from almost anywhere. The Humanity rollout improved schedule visibility and remote collaboration, provided printable records for certification and oversight, and delivered faster issue resolution through TCP Software’s responsive support—resulting in clear operational and administrative benefits for URI.
