A TCP Software Case Study
The Central Museum, the oldest municipal museum in the Netherlands, operates a catering and events department that rents rooms and a restaurant and depends on a flexible, event-driven staff of 15. Managing unpredictable shifts and getting enough people scheduled was a constant challenge: the team previously emailed availability and maintained schedules in Excel. To address this, the museum adopted Humanity, the work-scheduler platform from TCP Software.
TCP Software implemented Humanity to centralize shift offers, availability and confirmations; staff can now see who is available and accept shifts with a single click. The result for The Central Museum is “easier and clearer” scheduling, a significant reduction in manual admin work compared with Excel and emailed lists, and faster, more transparent shift assignment for the 15-person team.
