Oisterwijk Express is a volunteer-run tourist train in Oisterwijk, Netherlands, staffed mainly by retired bus drivers who have variable availability and occasional group reservations or special events. Scheduling had been handled in Excel and was cumbersome; to solve this the organization adopted TCP Software’s Humanity work scheduler.

TCP Software implemented Humanity to manage two-person shifts, accommodate last-minute changes, and handle group and event bookings, giving the volunteer coordinator a simple way to create and adjust schedules. Oisterwijk Express reports that scheduling is “much easier,” with improved flexibility and reduced manual effort, and recommends Humanity for other volunteer-driven operations.
