Middlebury College, a prestigious liberal arts school, needed a better way to schedule about 800 staff and many student workers who juggle classes and jobs. Previously they relied on Google Calendar, which required manual entry, was easy to misformat when others edited it, and lacked controls and reminders. To address this, Middlebury adopted Humanity from TCP Software to handle workforce scheduling.
TCP Software’s Humanity provided a centralized calendar, time clock, shift security to prevent unauthorized changes, reminders, easy employee onboarding and even employee photos, plus responsive tech support. The result: supervisors report scheduling is at least 2x faster than Google Calendar, stronger control over shifts, daily use of the system, and improved reliability and efficiency campus-wide.
