McKinney ISD, one of the largest school districts in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with more than 24,000 students and 2,700 staff, faced audit findings and operational problems around absence verification, faulty time clocks, inconsistent tracking of comp-time and accruals, and a burdensome “blackbox” data transfer process. To address these issues the district selected TimeClock Plus, deploying v7 software along with RDTg proximity time clocks and integrations to Tyler Munis payroll and SmartFind.

TimeClock Plus conducted an onsite discovery, installed and configured all 35+ clocks in just hours, removed the “blackbox” by integrating directly with SmartFind and Munis, and enabled real-time accruals and a Job Costing Module for events. As a result, McKinney ISD can run audit-ready reports, eliminate paper timesheets, and has cut payroll processing time from about half a day to roughly an hour, delivering faster, more accurate time and attendance management.
