A TCP Software Case Study
Laurentian Ski Hill, a recreational ski operation in business since 2004 with about 100 seasonal employees, faced rapid growth and scheduling chaos—young, mostly student staff with varied availability led to missed shifts, last-minute notes, and employees claiming they didn’t know they were scheduled. To solve this, Laurentian Ski Hill adopted TCP Software’s Humanity scheduling platform.
TCP Software implemented Humanity to let staff enter availability and vacation requests, trade shifts with one-click approvals, use a message wall and reports, run shift pickups, and export schedule data back into internal systems. The change registered over 100 staff and volunteers, reduced missed-shift excuses, and cut management involvement in trades to a single click, streamlining scheduling and improving operational clarity.
