How West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind Improved Workforce Management with TimeClock Plus

West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind, a nonprofit manufacturing organization employing more than 60 visually impaired workers in San Angelo, Texas, was struggling with outdated punch clocks and manual reporting. The manual process was not accessible for blind employees, slowed clock-ins, and made payroll and job tracking time-consuming and incomplete. The organization turned to TCP Software’s TimeClock Plus to replace its paper-based system.

TCP Software implemented TimeClock Plus with proximity clocks and later upgraded the customer to a browser-based version for easier administration and accessibility. The solution cut clock-in time to 30–45 seconds for the whole group, reduced payroll processing from more than a day and a half to hours, and provided detailed job-code reporting to improve labor visibility and cost control. With TCP Software, West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind improved efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility while supporting its mission to create more jobs for the blind community.
