A TCP Software Case Study
Flagstaff Music Festival is a nonprofit that has grown into a two-day outdoor event on Heritage Square in downtown Flagstaff. The organizer faced the recurring challenge of scheduling a changing cast of up to 25 volunteers each year across many roles; they had been managing assignments with a spreadsheet. To solve this, they turned to TCP Software’s Humanity work scheduler so volunteers could easily submit availability and organizers could build shifts more efficiently.
TCP Software’s web-based Humanity was implemented to allow real-time edits, availability collection, and remote collaboration, replacing the spreadsheet workflow. The result: streamlined scheduling for up to 25 volunteers across the festival and associated fundraisers, faster decision-making on-site, and easier coordination without being together—so effective that Flagstaff Music Festival’s Mike Taylor has recommended TCP Software’s Humanity to other organizations.
