Byce Ministries, a nonprofit founded in 2009 that provides nourishment, education assistance and life-skill development to children and young adults, struggled with recruiting volunteers and getting them to keep their commitments while managing schedules in spreadsheets. To solve this, they turned to the Humanity work scheduler from TCP Software.

TCP Software implemented Humanity to replace the spreadsheet-based scheduling process, simplifying rostering, communications and commitment tracking for volunteers. Byce Ministries reports the Humanity scheduler and TCP Software’s team are “very helpful” and recommends the solution, noting improved reliability in volunteer scheduling and easier management (the case study does not provide quantitative metrics).
