Avista Audio Visual Rentals and Services - Customer Case Study

Avista Audio Visual Rentals and Services is a San Francisco Bay Area audio-visual rental company with three offices (San Francisco, San Jose, Walnut Creek) and 16 employees. As the business grew from a four-person team, keeping schedules up to date became difficult because staff are flexibly assigned across offices; Avista had been relying on a static weekly Excel spreadsheet that couldn’t handle midweek changes. To solve this they turned to TCP Software’s scheduling product, Humanity.

TCP Software implemented Humanity, replacing the Excel process and giving managers and employees real-time access to the current schedule. Humanity was quickly deployed to all 16 staff across the three offices with a minimal learning curve, enabling constant schedule changes, clearer communication, and better coordination of flexible assignments. Avista reports immediate usability and improved scheduling reliability, and notes TCP Software’s responsiveness to feedback from their CEO, Ryan.
