ABC Transportation, a fourth-generation family taxi and transportation provider serving Livonia and eight surrounding Michigan cities, needed a way to modernize dispatch, stay cost-effective, and compete with ride-hailing services like Uber while maintaining its reputation for reliable, safe service. By using Taxi Commander and Future Quest Wireless digital dispatch and GPS tracking, the company aimed to improve efficiency, reduce hardware costs, and support a growing team with easier training.

Taxi Commander helped ABC Transportation launch a more customer-friendly, app-based service through the NexTaxi Network, giving riders the ability to book trips online, pay in-app or cash, and use the service across North America. The solution also supported ABC Transportation’s expansion from seven or eight vehicles to 55, while helping dispatch grow from three to eight staff and enabling the business to respond more effectively to competitive pressure.
