Pneusource Inc., a manufacturing company and compressed air specialist, faced a significant cash flow challenge as its customers increasingly extended payment terms from 30 days to 60 or 90 days. To improve their liquidity, the company sought a way to accelerate customer payments and turned to a solution from their vendor, Taulia, after discovering that one of their key clients offered early payments through its platform.
Taulia's Early Payment solution allowed Pneusource to receive payment on invoices in just two days instead of the standard net 30 terms. By using the Taulia system for electronic invoicing and the PO Flip feature, the company could quickly submit invoices and then select which ones to get paid early for a small fee. This resulted in dramatically improved cash flow, with funds deposited directly into their bank account. The owner noted the 2% cost was a better value than the 3% fees from other payment methods, making the Taulia service highly valuable for their small business.
