JLT Specialty, a London-based insurance, reinsurance, and brokerage firm, needed highly reliable internet connectivity and end-to-end redundancy for critical applications at its India offices in Pune and Powai. The company also wanted a cost-effective, fully managed solution that could separate critical and non-critical traffic while staying within budget, and it chose Tata Communications to help address this challenge.

Tata Communications implemented bespoke extended connectivity with a Gbps NetFlow Data Export (NDE) link and a mix of dedicated Internet Leased Line (ILL) connections for critical and non-critical applications, all terminating on two routers for added resilience. As a result, Pune office uptime improved from 99.5% to 99.95%, costs were reduced by using two CPE instead of three, and users experienced near-zero downtime with centralized security and consistent policy enforcement.
