SkyLab, a Singapore-based IoT solutions provider, needed a secure, highly reliable way to collect, transmit, and archive critical solar energy data for customer Sunseap. Tata Communications implemented a fully managed solution combining cloud storage, private cloud, connectivity, security, and colocation, centralizing SkyLab’s infrastructure and retiring many legacy servers. The result was 24/7/365 high availability, 99.96% SLA performance for Sunseap, and annual savings of 15% to 25%, while also reducing internal manpower needs and avoiding major capital expenditure.
