Hongdian Corporation, an early M2M and IoT solutions provider in China, wanted to solve mobile connectivity challenges for its cellular routers and other connected devices, especially across borders and regions. It partnered with Tata Communications and used Tata Communications MOVE™ to support seamless, secure, and cost-effective global connectivity for its H8922S cellular router and related IoT applications.

Tata Communications implemented MOVE™ as a managed global mobile network service with localized SIM capability, secure VPN links, and multi-network compatibility. This helped Hongdian reduce operating costs, improve security and visibility, and simplify deployments; the solution was already being used in nearly 100,000 ATMs across China and Southeast Asia, with zero-touch device deployment and access to 600 mobile network operators in 200 countries.
