Global pharmaceutical company streamlines operations and enhances productivity

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, a global pharma company with 31 sites worldwide, needed to replace an aging, inconsistent WAN that was creating bandwidth bottlenecks, poor connectivity, security concerns, and high costs while limiting access to centralized applications in Hyderabad. Tata Communications was selected to provide a managed backbone using its Global VPN service, along with Global SIP Connect for unified communications.

Tata Communications implemented the new network across all 31 locations in four weeks, improving bandwidth, resilience, security, and centralized internet access while enabling faster, more reliable collaboration. The results included higher staff productivity, reduced travel and communication costs, lower maintenance and provider expenses, and better IT governance, with voice traffic moved on-net and time-sensitive traffic prioritized through class-of-service controls.
