Fortis, a leading healthcare provider in India with 54 hospitals and clinics, needed a more reliable, secure, and scalable way to connect its sites and cloud-based ERP systems. As its business grew, it also required better network availability for patient safety, improved infrastructure management, and a centralized medical imaging archive that could be accessed securely from any location.

Fortis partnered with Tata Communications to implement an MPLS-based Global VPN, along with managed security services, Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) as a service, and managed hosting/colocation support. Tata Communications delivered always-on connectivity with hardware and link redundancy, resulting in 99.9% network uptime, near-zero packet loss, and jitter below 5 milliseconds, while also enabling instant access to patient records and reducing IT workload.
