State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest public sector bank, wanted to better serve high net-worth individuals with a more personalized wealth management experience. To support its SBI Exclusif initiative, SBI turned to Tata Communications and its cloud-based contact centre solution, InstaCC Global™, to provide anytime, anywhere access to relationship managers across secure digital channels.
Tata Communications implemented an omnichannel platform with video, voice, chat, co-browsing, mobile support, and secure transaction capabilities, integrated with SBI systems. The solution went live in just 90 days and helped SBI become the first omnichannel cloud contact centre in the Indian banking sector and the first Cisco Remote Expert Mobile video cloud contact centre in India; within the first month, SBI recruited 200 new wealth management customers.
