Rocket science log X-ray specialist Finnos strives for collaboration excellence

Finnos Oy, a Finland‑based log X‑ray system specialist for the sawmill and wood‑related industries, faced rapid growth that outpaced its informal planning methods. The company needed a GDPR‑compliant, structured cloud solution to align mechanical design, software development, manufacturing and machine‑vision processes, manage many overlapping projects and give customers visibility. After evaluating options like Trello, Finnos Oy chose Taskworld as its project, task and collaboration management tool, partly because of Taskworld’s multi‑workspace capabilities and server locations in Germany and Switzerland.

Taskworld was rolled out across every department (starting in 2017), with mobile access and external customers integrated into live projects. The platform now supports almost a hundred customer projects plus hundreds of internal projects, enforces standardized processes and quality‑control checklists, and gives customers real‑time visibility into delivery and QA. By using Taskworld, Finnos Oy gained greater transparency, faster coordination, more efficient resource management and fewer large coordination meetings, improving overall agility and project delivery.
