Case Study: Dansk Supermarked Group achieves unified sales and procurement insight to prevent stockouts with TARGIT

A TARGIT Case Study

Preview of the Dansk Supermarked Group Case Study

Denmark's largest retail group keeps it fresh with TARGIT

Dansk Supermarked Group, Denmark’s largest retail group (føtex, Bilka, Netto and Salling) with over 1,400 stores and ~47,000 employees, struggled with limited oversight of sales and procurement. Massive amounts of transactional data sat in the ERP with no easy way to retrieve or analyze it, leaving employees worried about stocking and the risk that customers couldn’t find desired products on the shelf.

TARGIT was implemented as the front-end BI solution and standardized platform, giving users fast access to reports and KPIs across more than 33 billion data rows. The solution consolidated procurement and sales insight, enabled smarter store-to-store product moves and price-impact analysis, and delivered real-time monitoring of all products—reducing stockouts and improving procurement and stocking management across the group.
