Acura partnered with Targetbase to strengthen owner engagement and encourage repeat purchase earlier in the ownership cycle. The challenge was that Acura’s communications were focused mainly on acquisition, with little designed to engage current owners before lease end.

Targetbase created the AOLC program using “in the moment” creative, model-specific personalization, and precisely timed messages with appreciation content, lifestyle information, and upgrade messaging. The program delivered measurable impact, including a 36% incremental lift in new Acura sales, an 8% increase in Loyal customers, a 9% increase in total Customer Paid ROs, and 89% owner enrollment in MyAcura, while email subject line testing boosted open rates by 53% on average.
