Curb, by Verifone Taxi Systems, the #1 taxi app in the US, partnered with Taptica to find highly engaged new users across 12 key cities nationwide. The challenge was reaching valuable riders in core markets while managing aggressive CPIs and a broad target audience.
Taptica launched joint Facebook and Instagram social campaigns targeting Android and iOS users near key city hubs, then refined performance with joint-city and 50-mile radius targeting and city-specific promo codes. The results included 300% install growth, 35% lower CPIs, nearly 5X more installs with 50-mile radius targeting, about 2.5X higher app starts per user, and a 23-point jump in the Google Play Store ranking from #46 to #23.
