International Retailing Company partnered with Taptica to drive large-scale user acquisition for its industry-leading eCommerce app ahead of the November Singles’ Day sales period. The main challenge was scaling installs quickly while ensuring that new users were high-quality shoppers who would meet the retailer’s retention and audience benchmarks.
Taptica responded with a mix of high-power burst campaigns and supplementary non-incent campaigns, optimized toward day-7 retention. The approach generated a 74% lift in installs in the first week of November, a 60% increase in acquisition between November 10 and 11, and more than 200,000 new users in a single day. Overall, Taptica delivered a 250% increase in conversions, a 2.4x rise in installs on the day of the holiday, and over 86% of installs met quality benchmarks.
