Dose of Colors, a beauty and cosmetics brand founded by makeup artist and influencer Anna Petrosian, wanted to give customers a faster, easier way to shop while also finding a smarter way to compete in a crowded market without spending more on advertising. Working with Tapcart, the brand looked to launch a mobile app that would keep its products in customers’ hands, simplify purchasing, and strengthen engagement with loyal fans.
Tapcart’s app gave Dose of Colors a direct channel to VIP customers through app-only exclusives, cross-promotions, pre-sale access, loyalty incentives, and push notifications. The results were strong: app shoppers had a 27% higher average order value than website shoppers, 23% of the customer base downloaded the app, and the app became the brand’s second-highest revenue channel after the website, while also improving retention, personalization, and customer insights.
