Taoglas helps SODAQ TRACK with high quality GNSS performance

SODAQ, a Netherlands-based world leader in sustainable IoT solutions, faced the challenge of designing a low-cost, industrial asset tracker that required fail-safe connectivity and reliable GNSS performance to minimize ecological impact and reduce unplanned downtime. To achieve this, they partnered with antenna vendor Taoglas for a high-quality component that would also help optimize the device's battery life.

The solution was the implementation of Taoglas's SGGP.12.4.A.02, a low-profile GNSS patch antenna. The high-gain Taoglas antenna improved performance and reduced power consumption, which was critical for extending the tracker's battery life by several years. The outcome was the successful launch of SODAQ's TRACK product, made possible by Taoglas's responsive engineering support and reliable hardware, leading SODAQ to commit to using Taoglas antennas for all future GNSS applications.
