Taoglas helps qiio® receive Network Optimized Certification from AT&T®

qiio, a provider of plug-and-play IoT solutions, faced the challenge of obtaining AT&T network certification for its q200 Guardian device to enter the competitive U.S. market. Lacking in-house RF expertise, the company needed a partner to navigate the complex carrier requirements after an initial antenna design failed to perform adequately.

With guidance from Taoglas, qiio selected high-performance antennas including the Havok PCS.26. Taoglas provided critical engineering support, testing, and pre-certification services, enabling qiio to achieve Network Optimized certification from AT&T in record time. This success made the q200 Guardian the first certified cellular Microsoft Azure Sphere device and secured qiio's position as a provider for AT&T's IoT solutions, with the device now performing reliably even in areas with poor cell phone coverage.
