Taoglas helps Metasphere to drive sustainable use of the world’s natural resources

Metasphere, a provider of remote telemetry solutions for utilities, faced the challenge of finding an antenna for its IoT wastewater sensors that could maintain a reliable cellular connection deep underground, withstand corrosive and harsh conditions, and support multiple 4G/5G technologies globally. They partnered with Taoglas to find a solution for their ART Sewer monitoring system.

Taoglas provided their GSA.8835 external adhesive-mount antenna, selected for its high performance below ground, IP67 waterproof rating, and support for global cellular bands. The solution delivered the robust and reliable connectivity required, impressing Metasphere with its performance in areas of low coverage, which is critical for preventing environmental spills and achieving long battery life for the sensors. Metasphere also highlighted Taoglas's strong technical support and their successful long-term partnership.
