Taoglas helps Basetime enable ultra-accurate geometric height measurement for construction applications

Basetime, an engineering and geodetic consultancy company, needed to enable ultra-accurate geometric height measurements for construction applications, where sub-centimeter precision is critical for project budgets and timelines. To develop its Locater One measurement device, Basetime turned to vendor Taoglas for a highly accurate GPS antenna solution.

Taoglas implemented its ADFGP.50A active dual-patch GNSS antenna, which was tuned for high precision on a custom metal ground plane. The solution provided consistent, sub-centimeter precision for the customer. Basetime was also impressed by Taoglas's custom tuning service and flexible support, which included modifying the antenna cable to improve the assembly process.
