Taoglas GNSS antenna flies with Parrot drones

Parrot, a leading European drone manufacturer, needed a high-performance GNSS antenna solution for its ANAFI USA drone that would not compromise on weight or size. The challenge was to find an antenna with an optimal balance of performance and minimal mass, capable of operating effectively away from interference while maintaining the drone’s delicate balance and flight capabilities.

Taoglas provided their DSGP.1575.15.4.A.02 passive patch antenna, an ultra-compact and lightweight component supporting GPS L1 and Galileo E1. Through engineering collaboration and testing support, Taoglas helped Parrot integrate the antenna, resulting in a market-ready product. The solution contributed to the ANAFI USA’s ability to fly for up to 32 minutes and carry larger payloads, while also enabling efficient, high-volume assembly that minimized production costs and lead time.
